We are delighted to invite all our alumni for the 2019 Alumni Gathering that will take place on Saturday 25 May 2019 in Geneva!
Under the theme ‘The Geneva Academy Awards’, panelists will present movies from the angle of international humanitarian law, international human rights law and transitional justice, and discuss these with alumni during a Q&A session.

In his new book published by Elgar International Humanitarian Law: Rules, Controversies, and Solutions to Problems Arising in Warfare Professor Marco Sassòli focuses on controversial issues and on the challenges facing the implementation of international humanitarian law in practice.
From 20 to 24 February 2019, students of our LLM in International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights travelled to Belgrade where they met experts and institutions who work in the fields of international humanitarian law, international human rights law, and international criminal law.
