The CCPR Database and Case Law Briefs serves as a comprehensive repository, compiling and systematically organizing all jurisprudence that the United Nations Human Rights Committee adopts. Its aim is to facilitate access to and deepen understanding of the Committee’s jurisprudence, making it a useful tool for researchers, legal professionals, and human rights advocates.

Users can effortlessly navigate the database through different search parameters, including year, State, specific provisions of the ICCPR, and keywords. To further enhance accessibility and comprehension, the database also provides concise summaries for the majority of cases. These features collectively offer a user-friendly interface for exploring the Committee's work, and thus support greater engagement with and application of its decisions and recommendations.

Developers/Administrators

The CCPR Centre oversees the development and maintenance of the database, with significant contributions from the students of the Law Clinic at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva. This collaboration ensures accurate summaries and detailed analyses of the cases.
