The ECHR Knowledge Sharing Platform (ECHR-KS) is an innovative and dynamic tool designed to provide easy access to analytical and contextualised knowledge on the evolving case law of the European Court of Human Rights. Regularly updated, the platform provides in-depth case law information, categorised by articles of the European Convention on Human Rights and transversal themes, such as environment, immigration, data protection, and more.
Designed with an intuitive and user-friendly interface, the ECHR-KS platform supports judges, legal professionals, researchers, academics, and the general public in understanding the fundamental principles and latest developments in human rights case law, empowering them with practical knowledge to advance justice and human rights protection at national level. The platform acts as a bridge between the European Court of Human Rights and domestic jurisdictions enabling a common understanding of issues related to Human Rights.
The accuracy of the platform is maintained through thorough reviews and rigorous quality control processes, complemented by weekly updates, ensuring that users always have access to the most up-to-date and reliable information.
Recognising the importance of linguistic accessibility, the ECHR-KS platform has been extended beyond the Council of Europe official languages (English and French) to include Romanian, Turkish, and Ukrainian versions of the platform, with plans to expand into more languages in the future.
The ECHR-KS platform has been developed and is managed by the Registry of the European Court of Human Rights.
