Most courses are taught in English. Some exams can be taken in French and questions in class may be asked in either language. The LLM paper can be written in French.
We are a leading education and research institution in international humanitarian law, human rights and transitional justice.
Our LLM students have the opportunity to acquire first-hand professional experience via internships with Geneva-based humanitarian and human rights actors
We offer scholarships to outstanding students who are unable to secure the funding required to cover tuition fees and/or the cost of living in Geneva.
We attract some of the most experienced and academically qualified students from around the world who are taught by leading academics and practitioners in the field.
I think the LLM at the Geneva Academy is an incredible opportunity to learn about humanitarian law, international criminal law and human rights, being challenged daily by professors who are internationally renowned experts.
