The Geneva Academy is pleased to announce the appointment of Lina Borén as the new Head of Communications and External Relations.

Before joining the Geneva Academy, she served as Communications Lead at the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) and at the United Nations Development Programme's (UNDP) Connecting Business Initiative. She also worked as Communications Manager at the Foundation ForPro and Institut International de Lancy, where she established their communications teams and strategies from the ground up. Prior to these roles, she contributed to the communications team at the World YWCA. Her major accomplishments include leading two rebranding projects, which involved developing new visual identities and websites.

From 2009 to 2015, she contributed to several teams at the World Economic Forum (WEF). As part of the organization's think tank, the Global Agenda Councils, she developed a series of public-private partnership events focused on design thinking. She then transitioned to communications, where she helped create WEF's digital platform for world leaders.

With solid experience in developing communication strategies, enhancing brand identities, creating written and visual content, orchestrating multichannel campaigns, organizing events, managing digital platforms (including social media), and coordinating media relations, she has demonstrated proficiency across various aspects of communications. Lina Borén holds a Master's degree in Political Science.
